5 Reasons Many Adsense Sites Don't Make Money
Adsense has changed a great deal since conception. Now everyone has Adsense on their websites. There are many reasons why many Adsense sites make no or very little money. Some are out of our control, such as the market being saturated and the consumer becoming immune to that type of advertising. However, there are many things you can do to improve your ability to make an income off Adsense.
1. Publish new information as frequently as possible. Nobody likes a stagnant site.
2. Try to make the information as targeted to a niche as possible. If the content on your site is too broad then the ads aren't going to be targeted to the interests of the viewer.
3. If possible add the Adsense for Search as well as Content. People are more likely to click on the ads when they are directly related to the search they just entered.
4. Use Adsense in conjunction with AdWords. You need traffic to view your site if you want them to click on the ads contained on it.
5. And finally, if the above doesn't work, perhaps Adsense is not for your site. There are plenty of Affiliate networks and other text link programs that you can make significant money from. Go with the program that best suits your site, not the other way round.

To find popular content it is first of all important to know what is popular. Therefore before jumping on the AdSense bandwagon, it is very important to understand the one operative factor that makes or breaks your Adsense success.

Judging the popularity of the keyword is the best way to judge what content will be popular with the visitors. Therefore before deciding on the content it is important to get the keywords absolutely right (as the question is about 'Adsense website' I assume that adsense factor is more important than personal interest).
What are popular keywords?
The keywords which are used in very high number of searches can be called popular keywords. Once such example is 'Work from home'. This phrase is used in millions of searches every month on google and yahoo alone. This makes it a very popular keyword and it is a good idea to build a website around such a word. We can see for ourselves that all questions centred around making money and working from home return a very high EPA on Helium which is an adsense supported website.
Why is that so?
As popular keywords not only provide a very high traffic but also auction at very high rates on google, they provide a very high per click income.
Considering the keyword factor is the best way to decide on popular content for the adsense website.
How can you find popular keywords.
Go to Yahoo Sponsored search and use the free keyword tool which allows you to see how many searches were done for any keyword.
Where can you find content for your website?
Simply search for free articles in google. There are hundreds of sites which offer free articles for people to use on their websites as long as they provide backlinks and give honest credit. There is not dirth of usable material once you start searching.

1. get to adsense google and get a publication id number
2. make sure that you have a website so that you can use your adsense id independently
3. join the google adsense BLOG and they usually discuss things like this with seriousness
4. use your google adsense id in your BLOG and choose the ads or you can leave them to automatically feed you the ads. you also earn this way
5. traffic, nothing beats it. then they take you damn seriously!
How to tell when "click fraud" is being perpetrated on your Adsense account
Google Adsense posseses very sophisticated monitoring equipment that detects what it determines to be "click fraud;" i.e., any type of clicks on Google Adsense ads that are not part of the random advertising process. Adsense account holders are simply not allowed to fake clips in any manner. They cannot encourage friends or relatives to click on the ads, they certainly cannot click on to their own blog's ads, and so forth.
So if you pull up your Adsense account and your "impressions" (that is, the times that someone actually clicks onto your blog and reads a post) and "clicks" (how many times someone clicnks onto one of the little blue Adense ads pasted onto your post and/or page) have suddenly skyrocketed tenfold or more, you will want to look into that.
Could be a jealous blogger might want to sabotage your account, which they can do by simply pasting your blog's URL onto an illegal blogg clicking service - one that computerizes the clicking process and, in essense, rips off the advertiser.
But Google assumes each blogger has deep knowledge about his or her blog and how it is being marketed. Once an Adsense account is revoked, it is seldom if ever renewed.
Staying in touch with Google Adsense support staff can be helpful. They can't say whether someone is trying to wipe you out, but they will notify you when you are not incompliance with their terms and service.

If you're earning pennies from your Adsense web pages, it's very tempting to make more money by using online services that increases clicks on your ads like services that says "You click on my Adsense ads and i'll click on your ads." That's Adsense Exchange Services like the services offered at www.adsense-exchange.com and other similar services. Beware and do not use these services as this is the surest way your adsense account will be banned and forfeited for life.

Google Adsense success tips

There are not many things in the Internet Marketing world that you can wholly rely on. Following the advice of the 'experts' does not always yield success. In my experience though, there is one area of Internet business that can pretty reliably deliver results. And that is 'Traffic, Adsense, Money'. In other words, if you send traffic to a site with AdSense on it, you will get paid! The good bit is that you will get paid by Google, which means that the income source is reliable. There is no waiting for payments, and no panicking if the provider will go bust before they send you your money.
So everything is rosy ..... or is it?
Can it really be as simple as that?
Well, in essence, it is that simple. Google have some simple rules which you must follow, but otherwise, you can pretty much count on receiving regular payments from Google if you adhere to the three card trick. Sending traffic to a site is not always straight forward, but there are many ways in which this can be achieved, although this is something outside the scope of this article.
What we want to discuss here, assumes that some traffic is coming to your site, and you have AdSense already established. We want to look at the 'money' element of the equation.
Whilst getting traffic to your site is a major part of the Internet Marketing exercise, it is not enough by itself. Undoubtedly, when you receive traffic to a web site with AdSense on it, you will get some people clicking on Ads, and you will receive some income. However, for every dollar you make on each web site, you could be losing another four or five. Let's read that again,

Ouch! But it's true. I know because I have proved it.
When I started creating web sites a few years ago, I discovered AdSense, created an account, threw some code onto my sites and left it. Not surprisingly, nothing happened, and I forgot about it, and went onto other things (sound familiar so far?).
Imagine my surprise when about two years later, I received a cheque from Google for just over $100. I couldn't believe it. So, the first thing I did was to look at my AdSense account and see why they paid me. I also checked my web logs and lo noticed that traffic has appeared over a period of time, and yes, people had clicked on my AdSense ads. However, I was hungry for more information. After all, if I could do this without paying attention, imagine what would happen if I tried to replicate it. I started doing the math, and multiplying my results by the number of web sites I was going to put up. I could see dollar signs in front of my eyes, and was on my way to the travel agent, when it hit me.
I didn't know HOW to replicate this success. I didn't have enough information.
One thing was for sure. Web sites take time to attract traffic as a rule, and by doing nothing to promote my sites, I got some results, but it took a couple of years. So, we come to a rule
* There may be ways to speed things up, but you have to be patient.

Now, Google does offer some tools to track your web sites, but to my mind they are limited and cumbersome . They certainly didn't give me many clues as to how and why I received my cheque from Google I wasn't able to tell anything other than which sites has produced the income. Nice to know, but not enough to enable me to replicate my success. So, I had to find another way to track AdSense results. I eventually tracked down an awesome script that did everything bar get up and make a cup of coffee.
This script has everything that you need to monitor your AdSense campaigns. It not only tells you which sites are generating income, but it also tells you which pages on the sites, which Ads on the sites, which colors of which ads on the sites, which keywords were used to find you, which site referred your customer to you .... need I go on? It is a magnificent tool, and one which is indispensable if you want to succeed with AdSense
I just wish I had it four years ago .......
Anyway, back to the story ......
Once I installed the script, I started to see trends in my web sites, and as I built more sites, my AdSense income grew, and I now get regular payments from Google Please note that I am NOT one of those who makes tens of thousands a month with AdSense (I wish), and I still haven't discovered the secret to that level of success. I do, however, continue to monitor my results and to read any information that I can relating to AdSense

I don't know about you, but I buy a lot of material to try and help me build my online business, and I can count on very few fingers on one hand, those that actually worked as described.
This is one of those that does what is says on the tin folks!.
And what did I learn from this tool?
First off, I should point out that the tool is excellent for the beginner, because it takes you through every aspect of setting up an AdSense web site. No stone is left unturned.
And I am testimony to the fact that it goes beyond beginners as well.
I have implemented some of the strategies outlined on some of my sites, and I have seen improvements in all of them. I would say that my clicks have doubled with the same amount of traffic. I do not have many high traffic sites, and this is where this really wins. It helps you get the most out of your existing traffic, and does not rely on you having to generate more traffic.
Needless to say, I will continue to apply these techniques to my other sites, and certainly apply them to all of my new ones.
